When Figure Skating, is it acceptable for me to wear Spandex

Yes, in figure skating, spandex happens. It is not always pretty, but men do wear it. They also wear less skin-tight pants and shirts sometimes.

Some men that figure skate do wear spandex, but much of the newer modern figure skating wear for me consists of looser clothing to wear.

Damn It Joey, do you mean Spandex pants or a dress? Heh heh. If you want to look like those guys in ''Blades of Glory you go boy!

It is never acceptable to wear spandex.

For performances, it is okay, and some men do it, but it is mainly in costumes. The spandex stuff can be shirts or tights used under the usual slacks, or you may just be like those guys in Blades of Glory (that is the first thing that came to mind.. : P).

l would recommend using slacks or loser clothing-it just looks more appropriate,classy, and sleek on men.
