l am about to get a brand new pair of skates ((my first Riedell skates!)), and l am not looking forward to the idea of breaking in another new pair. l am getting them heat molded, and l know that this makes them custom fitted to your foot, but l was also curious.. Does it *help* break them in?

no it does not l have a pair of harlick boots they were heat molded and it was still the same as breaking in a regular pair of skates l know its hard breaking them in im going through it right now

no to break in your skates do a couple os waltz jumps half flips do a couple of small jumps it will help a lot

It does not really help break them in. It makes it more comfortable to do so though. Like you wo not be in pain when you have them on so its easier to break them in. After a couple of sessions it should be fine.

no not really. the hard way is the best way. just skate a few session and do a lot of edges, stroking, and waltz jumps.
It does a little to make you feet more comfortable, but does not necessarily help break them in. It is just another of those skating things that are not not necessary, but the pro shop wants you to think so.
