My mum has booked me into a lesson thing at the snow dome tomorrow and im really worried because it looks really hard. l do not think l will be able to do it either. =(

If u relax, go with the flow & listen to the instructors l am sure u will be fine. Taking lessons will teach u the easiest way to do the sport. Listen to the instructor, they r trained to teach u how to ski & make it easy for u in the beginning. It is quite tricky though! Like everything in life, it just needs practice. The techniques r simple, yet so important to do right.

P.S Just enjoy yourself, it’ll be fun! You can just start with the green runs, I’m sure u’ll be able to do it.

Ice skating is the easiest thing in the world to do. If you can hold your balance and move one foot in front of the other you can skate. Twirls and jumps come later but even they are doable if you have the right training. l do not know how old you are but the earlier you begin the easier it is. Just relax and have fun

Agreed just relax and watch your balance and LISSTEN and you will do GREAT

Just follow these instructions
1. Do not try to run
2. Put ur skates side by side & push one out to they side while u lean forward just a tad.
3. Do the same with the other foot as u bring the first on back & continue the same pattern.
4. Ask for Hocky skates if they have them- You may fall more in the beggining but its easier to learn.
5. Look at others who can skate & try to imtate them.
6. Make sure ur ankles r secure & that the skates stay upright. Loose skates will make it impossible to learn.
