I am a vegan and l really wanna be a Figure Skater. Can l get custom made boots that do not have leather or animal products? l know if l can it will probably be REALLY expensive but l think it would be worth it. =)

unfortunatly it has to be leather, becuz it has to be stong enough to do triple jumps and not break, and it has to mold to yur foot, leather is the only option, l dont even think there would be any possibility for them to make them out of a diff material, even if u would be willing to pay 5000, even the really cheap begginer ones r made out of leather

so if u really want to be a skater yur gonna have to deal

Only very beginner skates are made of materials other than leather. New advancements are made in skating technology so it might not be long before synthetic materials stronger than leather are used. But at least the leather is being put to good use rather than wasting it. Your idea will work as long as you are comfortable with it.
