ice skater but are these a brand? l bought them at the salvation army, they are blue suede with white heels and laces. Did he ever have his own brand of skates? Any info would be great! thanks!
it is spelled correctly on the skates it is just my errorthe mispelling
to be more specific they say otto and maria jelinik and are a small size 6 1/2

l do not see in the wikipedia link below that Otto ever made skates. Maybe a manufacturer paid him money to ''endorse'' their skates like Nike paid Michael Jordan to put his name on their Air Jordan sneakers.

The give-away here may be that if his name is spelled jelenik on the skates they may be a fake as, apparently, his name is spelled jelinek.

l do not know this skater but they may have been his own skates. especially because the are blue suede, they are definitely custom made skates. l have customs and my name is painted on the bottom of my skates.
