l need to look prepared but flattering
what things are essential without being ridiculously unstylish
thanks :)

i'm going with my crush and l want him to make a move today so thats why it needs to be flattering
Results of the day:
l wore the sretchy jeans and my clothing was totally fine.
But my skaing wasnt.
Someone sated into my side and my head hit the ice on the way down. Reaction from him: none whatsoever. :( no move

well just wear something sensible as it could be cold
also if u have not been ice skating before
DO NOT worry about being in something flattering
as u may end up being flattering on the ice

that is flat out on ur face every 30 seconds till u learn how to keep yourself standing/balance

l loved ice skating in my youth & remember when l first went onto the ice (1963/4) like it was yesterday

WHOOPS there l was FLAT OUT
But got back up & soon mastered it

HOPE YOU
have a great time & enjoy yourself
the way l did

how about a nice Beret and scarf? jeans are good but if you fall over they stay wet for ages.

also my top tip is a good thick pair of socks cos the loan skates are rank and can rub too because they are made of plastic.

dont be afraid to look they fool, lots of people will be falling over perhaps some gloves too just incase..

have fun and enjoy

Ps l dont recommend leggins for any where but the bin haha

l think you should either wear stretchy jeans or sweat pants. if you fall the jeans might stay wet for a long time.
wear a nice sweater and a north face or something. a matching scarf would be nice. might want hair in a ponytail so your hair does not get in the way.

hope your date goes well!
:D
telll me if he makes a move..

u dont want to look too dressed up or anything.. so i'd say fitting jeans (preferably dark colour so u look slimmer), and.. fitting tee (preferably something bright & sweet? or else sophisticated & dark?) . a fitting jacket if you're cold?? wear nice-coloured gloves & thick socks(this is for ur comfort)

most importantly, WEAR A SMILE :D there is nothing more inviting than a warm smile to keep away the cold ((:

best of luck with ur date.. when is it?

you must must tell us how it goes & what u wore in the end! :D

OMG!!!! thats kinda funny cause like two weeks ago l went ice skating with my best friend and we(well technically she)invited my crush! well l wore my favorite jeans, a cute top and a jacket. Also l put my hair in a low side ponytail and then l took it out so l could do the whole hair flip thing.
And wanna hear the cool part?like four days after we went skating he asked my friend(the one that went with me)to ask me out for him.
Good luck!!!

ice skates if u have them obviously
erm. id wear jeans preferably a dark shade, leg warmers a nice top & nice jacket so ur nice & warm but still look stunning,. oh & dont forget to do something nice with ur hair id rekomend having it off ur face somehow but mayeb not tying it all up. depends what suits you. gloves mite also be a good idea & nice warm socks that arent to thick.
on the whole just something that u feel confident & comfortable in & that looks nice on you
good luck with the date & let us know how it goes & what u wore etc

Wear some black stretchy pants (not jeans), and wear a bright sweater

You do not have to be wearing an ice skating dress to look good. l find that the best skaters r the ones in the black sweatsuits. Those girls look very sleek. Make sure you're warm!! You do not want to have to stop in the middle saying ur too cold! Wear gloves incase u fall, no one wants numb hands! Wear a medium thickness pair of socks because rentals hurt! Wear a hat to keep ur ears warm. If you're nervous about being cold wear a pair of thights under ur pants. If u have long hair pull it into a ponytail or it will get in ur way. Good Luck!

if you're a figure skater, wear your normal skate gear.

if you're not. just wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

Wear some stretch pants & a cute sweater or sweatshirt. Jeans r restrictive & do not dry as quickly if u fall. It is a good idea to dress in layers. Typically indoor rinks r kept around 50-60 degrees. Maybe wear a cute shirt or even a long-sleeved t-shirt under a sweatshirt or fleece. Big thick socks can cause friction in u skates, so it is better to wear thin socks, tights or nylons. Do not forget mittens or gloves..and add a cute scarf if u want.

Good luck! :)

Wear some comfortable jeans, they absolutely must have some stretch in them, do not wear the kind that r just denim with no stretch. I've seen people rip the seat of their pants when they've fallen. Bring a pair of gloves or two & wear layers. For instance, wear a t-shirt with a sweater under a jacket. Or just wear a t-shirt, with a sweater & a scarf. The less u move around the colder u will feel. Just to be comfortable, u may wish to bring 2 pairs of socks in case the closest skate size they have is still too big for ur foot.

im a figure skater so when l go skating im in a skate dress for training. but jeans and a sweat shirt would be good. Do not go to look a girlie and cute. ice rinks are very cold. so wear a cute sweat shirt and do your hair and make up nice. but do not go in a mini skirt and tank top. you could say you forgot your jacket and see if he would give you his,

Please, please do not wear a scarf loose around your neck; if you fall, and l hope you don't, that scarf could cause someone else to skate on it and fall also. Tuck it inside your jacket.

Do not wear earrings-they could fall off, get embedded or partially and someone could skate over it and fall. Take them off, then when you're finished skating, put them on.

Have fun!
