rite im going through doing all my grades and l just cant do 3 turns. l cant seem to get my weight on the correct part fo the blade. help!!!!!

You need to bend your knee before you turn and after you turn.
Keep the weight on the ball of your foot, not your toe or heal. Press your foot in your boot just with that part.

Keep you head up and your shoulders/arms checked before and after.

Think of using ur toes to press down on the bottom of ur skate to help keep u on the correct edge. Inside edge - big toe, outside edge - baby toe. For forward 3-turns, u want to be towards the front of the rocker on ur blade. Keep ur skating knee slightly bent & ur free foot tucked closely behind. Backward 3-turns r a little more tricky in my opinion. You have to sit back on ur blade, now turning more towards the end of the rocker. Practice them in 3 steps: push onto ur edge, holding the free foot in front. 1. switch ur arms (you start ''hugging'' the circle you're on) so they're the opposite of how u started. 2. turn ur head to be looking the direction u intend on going. 3. turn the foot for the 3-turn. It is like u set yourself up for the turn to ease into it rather than doing it all at once. The tricky part is learning to trust the back of ur blade. If u even just push like you're going to do a back 3-turn & hold it, u can feel how the edge pulls u that direction anyway.

The best thing to do to work on 3-turns.forward/backward, inside/outside, right/left...is to just work them on a line. Keep doing them & the repetition makes them easier. Stay off ur toes & snap the turn. :)
