Hello. I am 18, male and looking for figure skating lessons about west Yorkshire and possibly over into other side of the border (Manchester etc). Looking for more Group based beginners lessons, but l can skate, and l can dance (more Folk dancing but hey). Any directions to sites for a list of venues that teach or Local Venues that do teach in name is welcome

Do start from the beginning level, even if u ''can'' skate - if you've never taken figure skating lessons before. If it is really too easy for you, u can talk to the instructor & they will probably move u on . . . just make sure u CAN do all the moves for that level or it may haunt u later. It is more than just about getting around in skates. Any dance experience should help (posture, coordination, expression (later on) etc).
