l have superfeet too! theyre amazing! but anyway, do a lot of bends & squats off ice before & after practice. another thing u might want to try is oranges. my coach said this worked for her, but they didnt work for me, so l dont know if it will or not. but what u do is u put an orange in each of ur skates & lace them up. supposedly the oils or something softens them up. then u put them on & walk around the house (WITH GUARDS) for a bit. hope this helped!

well l think you try wearing them at home. and it normally takes about 3 to 6 weeks to break them in. if you skate in them alot!

Where them at home if you can walk in therm for atleast 1hour or more, breaking in new skates usually takes up to 3/ 10 days. depending on your feet and how many times you go skating, l just got new skates too and it only took an hour to break them in.

l would walk around the house with them, with the gaurds on, and it takes about 10 days to break in a new pair of skates.

The best way to break in skates is just to do laps, laps, laps, & more laps of basic stroking. It may take a week or so until you're comfortable enough to spin or jump, but l guess that is the way it is. Try bending ur ankles & squating before u get on the ice. It will loosen things up. I'd say u should try bunga pads, too, they really help keep the pain away, if u have problems with that. Another tip, do not lace ur skates all the way up. There is no need at first, just do all of them but the top one. Once u see a crease starting by ur ankle, then u know it is time to lace them to the top. Do not do it too late, either! l kept skating with the first 3 done up, but once l needed to go all the way up l didn't. It caused huge problems, l had to send the skates back to the factory & ended up having to take 2 weeks off. It was a mess. (By the way, my sister is name is Janie, too! Kinda strange to see somebody else with a rare name like that)

Breaking in ur skates will take time. Depending on what level of skater u r depends on how long it will take u to break in ur new Silver Star's. They r going to be fairly stiff skates so it may take a little bit to break them in. Make sure to re-lace them often, & leave the top hook on the boots undone (this will help u bend more). Skate for short periods of time, make sure u wear good socks. Getting them heat molded at ur local pro shop may also be a good idea. l would also suggest making sure that if u begin to get a blister or anything that u take care of it quickly so it does not get out of hand if u let it go too long. Good luck, & have fun with ur new skates!
