l was wondering if 5 foot 6 is too tall for ice skating? (cause that is how tall l think l am) cause when I am in a pool and go to 5 feet l can touch the ground and l think I am just a little higher than it.

and if it is too tall to, like, compete?
l also think I am the tallest in my ice skating class and about the size of my teachers.

Absolutly not!! l am very tall and l have been skating for seven years! l was always the tallest in my class but we have the advantage! we have longer legs which means more leg musle!

l know figure skaters and ice dancers that are alot taller than that - 5'8/5'9 /5'10.
What matters is how good a skater you - your height will only ever stop you if you let it.

actually tall is good because if your doing jumps or when you are doing jumps your hight will help you get more air borne. good luck! keep going!
