That is totally up to you. Waste the time, or practice and get good at it.

Figure skating is a disiplined sport that takes lots of practice you have only done it for a short while but done it well if you have the dedication you should go far otherwise just enjoy ~~

Wha it is grade 4? l am only familiar with USFS and ISI. What are your highest jumps and spins?

same with me! l am level 4 but l just started last winter. l did not start lessons until around march. it might be too late for Olympics, but if you take gymnastics and ballet and work really hard and go to the ice rink often there is a chance you could be in competitions!

you will not go to the olympics. l was at freestlye 2 when l was 6. you might be in an exhibition or small(and l mean small) competition. l am only 11 and l am starting triples. you would not go to regionals or nationals or the olympics. but if you skate a lot you would get in a small competition..

l started skating when l was 9, and l am 12 right now. l am in FreeStyle 6 / Preliminary, and l have really solid doubles landed. l really love skating, so l try my best to get better. It did not take me a long time because l would really focus hard. If you love the sport and you practice enough, then you wo not be wasting your time. If you do not feel so good about skating, then do what you feel like doing.

No it is not a waste of time.. l think the level is lyk this.. if im not wrong coz l forgot some of em.

there r tons of competitions u can compete in! skating is great! u can skate until ur 90!
you can never waste ur time on skating! u can pretty much compete when u get a few jumps & spins down.
its highly unlikely that u will go to any novice junior or senior level, its never happened before in womens figure skating,there is a first for everything!.
but trust me, lower level competitions can be a blast, ive found that the higher l get the more nervewracking it becomes. & just because its a low level competition doesnt mean that its small. yes, there will be small competitions but there is also LARGE competitons for lower levels.

figure skating is one of those things where u get out of it what u put into it. train as hard as u want to succeed.
