l am a junior figure skater, with no coach. l can spin very well, do crossovers, go backwards, backwards crossovers, simple jumps on toe picks and have good balance. l need a new jump! could you help me pplleeaassee?? :)

You should probably identify what r the jumps u have been doing to check them off the list of jumps u intend to do. As a junior skater with no coach, u can forget about even attempting the Axel jump. Start with bunny hop jumps & waltz jumps, & then when u have successfully accomplished them, move onto to Salchow, Toe Loop, Loop, Flip & maybe Lutz (the latter has a difficulty in that u must jump off a strict outside edge & many skaters often have a difficulty maintaining that edge. It is hard to really master it without an experienced skater watching ur edge for you)
l realise l am speaking in very technical terms, but l hope it is still understandable!

i'm sorry, but if you are a junior skater, should not you be doing doubles? if you are doing simple jumps, you are probably on a preliminary level. lutz maybe?

umm. l hope you dont mean in usfsa levels, because that is the level before senior and single jumps are not junior level. sorry :P

you might need a coach to help you if you are going to go farther in skating.

Then when u have those u do doubles.
Double Salchow

The u do triples & quads! Yikes!!!
Good luck, remember the faster u skate the easier it is to get a good rotation & land correctly. Go to youtube.com & watch people skate. Its fun & it will help u get rid of ur mistakes.

You are not a junior, sorry.

The easiest of all jumps to do would be the ballet jump, imo. All you do is 3 turn and tap your toe pick into the ice briefly and land back down again. You could learn it quickly. Other easy jumps are the falling leaf, half flip, mazurka, side toe hop, bunny hop, and waltz jump.

If you want to learn the major jumps, it is best to learn the technique with a coach. If you learn it wrong, say goodbye to doubles and triples.
