l love to figure skate, l do a few thing is but nothing cool. Pretty much what l am saying is l would love to learn how to do the Lutz,Axel,Sal-chow any kind of jump really with out a teacher, Is there any movies l could get or any books or any web sites that might have tips? l am more of a free style l love messing around and trying new thing's. l know they have videos on how to do a lutz. You have to look on all the pages to find the how to do flips,axels, and toe loop jumps and more. l think you will still need a teacher so you wo not get hurt. And if you can not get a coach than be careful and good luck :)

A toe loop and waltz you can probably learn out of books. BUT LEAVE AXELS AND SALCHOWS TO THE GUIDANCE OF A COACH. Axels can be very dangerous when attempted wrong. It also depends if you have a natural ''spring'' to jumps. If you do, jumps will be very nice. Also l would sugest getting some crash pads. They are pants that you can get for about 20-30 bucks at a skate shop, it will pad falls that you have with single rotation jumps.

l agree with skater4life. Axels, well, there VERY VERY VERY dangerous. You would definetly want a coach to help you with that. Simple jumps like the waltz or half flip you could probalay learn on your own but usually not very many single jumps. l recommend getting a coach for that! Good luck!
