is it normal for your knees to ache while bending deeply while skating

have you ever fell on your knees because if you did maybe you permanently messed up your knees. but when l skate for a long time my knees dont ache even if im doin tricks most of the time l think you should take it easy till you get it checked out.

This is normal if your a beginner, but if your not a beginner, or have been skating for a short period of time this is not normal. They should not hurt that much. l skate twice a week for about 3 hours, and my knees do not hurt anymore =]

if you have never skated before then thats why. but if if you have been skating for a long time then it isnt normal. Maybe you are learning something new that is putting more pressure on your knees?

Or if you have fallen on them in the past or hit them, it might have permanently hurt them.

or if you are going through a growth spurt, that could be part of it

Ive had problems like that 2 . It eventually went away.

Well, if you train like l do, when you first start they usually will. After you get used to it they don't.

Yahh because l skate 5 tmes a week and my knees hurt. But more from jumping and less than bending

It is normal for all sorts of things to ache when skating. Skating uses all sorts of muscles that u do not typically use on a daily basis. The more u skate, the more u build up these muscles & eventually the pain goes away -- & something else hurts! :) You might also find that different disciplines of skating or different types of skates cause different pain. For example, I've been jumping & spinning for years & just took up ice dance. While dancing, I've found different muscles r sore that l did not have a problem with while skating freestyle.

like they said: if you are a begginer and they hurt then it is absolutly normal, but if you have been skating for awhile then it sort of isn't. When l do a sit spin or a broken leg spin, it does not hurt but when l first started it did. but on the other hand after i've skated for 3hours back to back my knees just hurt a little but a pain reliver like Advil should help. Some people just have weak knees (like me) but after awhile you get used to it. ^_^

It basically depends how experienced u are. If u r a beginner, this would most likely be normal. People who r not used to the ice normally suffer symptoms like this. Have u ever fallen? Whether a beginner or a junior champion, everybody falls. One of the most common falls is falling forward, landing on ur knees. l have done it several times, injuring myself, & dislocating my knee. Yes, falling definitely can cause an ache while bending deeply. If u have been skating for about two months or more, it depends on what skill u r doing. Are u bending ur knees while doing crossovers, or a spin? Maybe u r doing the step incorrectly, causing ur knee to ache. If u r simply skating in a bending position (many people do), & ur knees ache, l would recommend visiting a chiropractor, or ur family doctor. l have been skating for a while now, & l have never experienced knee aches while bending. l hope l helped!
