l never learned to Rollerblade which l heard makes ice skating easier? Is ice skating hard to pick up?

Yes learning how to rollerblade does make ice skating a little bit easier, but not by alot. IT takes some time to learn how to ice skate, but once you learn it is alot of fun!

everything is hard at fierst, you have to practise. people dont get good by doin nothing.

It is extremely difficult the first time.

l did it once and fell on my ass like 30 times. Then no one helped me so l stormed out and walked home..

If you know how to roller skate wont be a bother just hold on to the edges for a little while and you would be grand

l was in my 30 is when l first ice skated.it was at Rockefeller Plaza, no less..it was easy for me, but then l used to roller skate (not rollerblade) as a kid

roller blading makes it a little easier..
the main thing to remember is when you fall to make sure you get up as soon as you can.
once you get the hang of it.its really fun..

if u dont noe how to rollerblade then you will bound to be really bad at ice skating.
it was hard for me to pick up..
took one hour to keep my balance.
half of the time l was holding onto the side ..
which wasnt really fun.

Ice skating is not that hardd. l never learned how to rollerblade and ice skate all the time. When you first start you might want to hold on to something or someone. AnD when you fall remember to put your hands out so you dont hurt yourself. But ice skatig is not that hard..

roller bladers dont5 have much of an advantage . Skating is very easy once you make that first time around the rink barrier. Have fun and dont be afraid to fall.

l personally do not think roller blading has much of an impact on ice skating. And everything is difficult the first time u do it. Please. The first time l went skating l fell on my a** a gazillion times. but did l give up? NO l am in freestyle 6 & proud of it. l put a lot of effort into it & now it is simple. Balance, Gracefulness, & definitely do not be afraid to fall because that will make it worse. Roller blading is on wheels. Figure skating is on a thin blade. Balance is KEY. Hope l helped =]
