Okay, when l get on the ice, I am okay, and then after doing something for awhile (say skating in a circle constantly) l feel soooo week l can barely stand up, l feel like l could just fall over and not care.
l have new boots and they are fairly sore, but this is diffrent, l stretch and everything, so what is it?

You just need to build up some strength. THe more you skate, the less tired you will get. If you are just skating around and get tired, take a break before yoiu feel like you're going to collapse. Have a snack and stretch a little, then go back on the ice. You can also build up endurance and strength by doing other activites, such as running and leg exercises like squats and lunges.

It is funny coz l feel the same way. l used to skate about 2-3 hours/day, & l got pretty good at it. But then l got sick & did not skate for 1 week. When l got back on the ice it felt weird to me, it is like l had not skated for 20 years. l am still trying to recover from that. l am not as good as l were before, l am trying to get back to my normal self. Sometimes l will skate for 10 minutes & get dizzy & really tired. What l am doing is just gradually increasing the amount of time l can skate non-stop. l started with 10 minutes, then 15, then 30 min.. today l was able to skate for 1 1/2 hrs non-stop. l was tired, but once l get warmed up & comfortable on the ice, l do not stop skating. It takes me about 30 minutes to warm up & get the adrenaline to keep me going. It is hard, but l love skating!!! :-)

l think you are just not that fit. So to help get fit and stay on the ice longer without getting tired the best thing is to exercise, its good that you are stretching because that is a very important, but some jogging, skipping, would be great..
