I am going to a birthday party, but l do not know how to roller scate. I am really good at ice scating, and my mother has told me that rollar scating is way easier than ice scating. is this true?

its about the same as figure skating but different things make them harder.

figure skating: more competitive, cold, smaller blade=less balance, more developed element wise (harder jumps and spins=harder falls/pain),

roller skating: ive heard the falls hurt much more because on the ice you slide, roller skating you dont.

It all just depends on the person. Because if you are good at ICE SKATING then you are probably going to be good at ROLLER SKATING because you have the whole balance thing but again it just depends on the person.

Technically, figure skating is much harder than roller skating. With figure skating, to pick up speed u have to balance on one of the edges of the blade, while with roller skating there r none of these edges. The wheels on a roller skate r much wider than the blades on an ice skate to it is easier to balance for many.
It may seem harder at first, but l am sure once u get the hang of it, u will probably better than a good amount of people at the party!

It feels very different. l find it much harder to roller skate. l do inline skate though, it is closer to the feel of a figure skate. On roller skates the only way to really turn is to do cross-overs. You should be all right though.

ummm wel it depends on if you are good at ice skating or roller skating. l think ice skating is easier. If you fall on the wood floor it hurts so much
