ok l am in middle school, 6th grade to be exact and l am desperatly looking for a science fair project that is easy, unique, and involves something to do with ice skating. like something to do with axles and stuff. and l need a website with good instructions telling me what to do and stuff. please help!!!!

i'm not a scientist, but l am a skater!

There is a lot u can do with ice skating & physics, but it will take a little bit of work to understand. l think it would be really cool to base the experiments on ur own skating. For example u could apply the priciples of angular momentum & conservation of angular momentum. Check out this website as a good simple example : thttp://fearofphysics.com/Probs/mech084.html. And to turn this simple problem into more of an experiment try it with different spins, arm positions, etc. Maybe ur experiment could be to solve how to spin the fastest.

l recomend that u find some other books or a teacher to help u a little since sometimes the math in physics can get a little confusing.

Oh my Goodness!!! This post really scared me a lot!! Because my name is Erin & my last name starts with a S. AND in middle school my science fair project had something to do with skating!! haha! well, l did not use a website for mine, & mine was about how different head/eye position affected how dizzy u were after u spun.
